For Iraqis Not Dancing In The Streets

WASHINGTON (IWR News Satire) – President Bush today blamed Saddam Hussein for not teaching the Iraqis how to dance before the invasion in 2003.

"I want the Iraqi people to hear I’ve got great confidence in their capacity to learn how to dance in the streets.

If Saddam Hussein wasn’t such an evil, tinhorn, dictator, he would have given you guys tango lessons a long time ago.

Americans understand you’re newcomers to ballroom dancing. But pretty soon you need to get down and shake your booties.

I’m going tank even lower in the polls than Richard Nixon if you insist on keep fighting this darn civil war.

That’s why you need to play that funky music for this white boy and boogie oogie oogie in the streets of Baghdad like yesterday!

Otherwise, I’m toast. I’ll lose the House and Senate in this Fall’s election and then they will impeach my ass for getting us in this damn quagmire in the first place," said a desperate and frustrated George Bush.
