Bush Turns Into Gargoyle During Speech to Nation

But nobody notices except Helen Thomas.

Washington – President Bush turned into a gargoyle in the White House Cross Hall after giving his 48 hour ultimatum to Iraqi Leader Saddam Hussein on Monday.  Reporter Helen Thomas tried to point out Bush’s amazing transformation to other members of the Washington Press Corps, who were also watching the speech on a monitor, but they were too busy singing "Over There", which was lead by Candy Crowley of CNN.
