WASHINGTON (IWR News Satire) – Karl Rove blamed Bush’s own bad karma on Monday for dragging down the president’s job approval ratings.

"People still like this president. In fact, Bush’s likeability ratings are far higher than his approval ratings.

Well not really, but I know you bozos at the AP won’t check my facts anyway. Heh.

The American people are just sour right now about that stupid war in Iraq that Bush lied to get us in to, his surreal bungling of the Katrina disaster, his mind numbing record deficit spending, the Valerie Plame scandal, and all these embarrassing Orwellian revelations about domestic spying.

If it wasn’t for all this damn bad karma Bush has been accumulating for the last 5 years, everything would be hunky-dory today. What the president needs is a new mojo," said Karl Rove to group of panicking Republicans and lobbyists at the American Enterprise Institute.
