Marie-Denise Villers (1771-1821) I couldn’t find any other painting archives or more information about this French artist, by my god, what an enchanting painting it is. The painting is in the Met and is thought to be a self-portrait. Wikimedia Commons also had this additional Villers portrait of Madame Soustras
