WASHINGTON (IWR Parody News) – President Bush got a surprise collect phone call today from rock legend Elvis Presley. 

"I always knew The King was still alive.  In fact, Pickles and I have seen him many a time coming out of the West Waco Drive Laundromat. You know, when we drive by in our limousine. Sometimes, he’s even with his buddy Liberace.

Silly Elvis, he thought Nixon was still the President, the Vietnam war was still going on and that our country was still polarized.

Then, I got this really spooky sense of deja vu for some reason, and I don’t know why. 

Well to make a long story short, I invited Elvis and Liberace to play at my inauguration with Kid Rock. The twins will really think that’s groovy," said Mr. Bush to reporters.
