Majority of Americans Think New Jersey is "Iraq" Says New Roper Survey
New York (IWR Satire) – The National Geographic Society reported today that the majority (79%) of Americans misidentified the State of New Jersey as Saddam Hussein’s Iraq in a recent Roper survey The survey also revealed that most of the intelligence staff of the White House, CIA and Department of Defense have the same mistaken belief. Later in the day when questioned by the press, a red faced Donald Rumsfeld asked General Tommy Franks: "So are we attacking Iraq or New Jersey?" General Franks shrugged and said: "I guess I don’t know for sure now myself, but don’t worry I’ll double check our war plans just in case." |
