Jethro Bodine To Head Blue Ribbon Commission
Washington -- President Bush announced today that his long time friend, Jethro Bodine, will head up the 9/11 "Blue Ribbon" Commission to investigate events leading up to the 9/11 intelligence failure. "Mr. Bodine is one of the few experts in our nation that has the skills needed to 'cipher' all of the complex events that led up to the 9/11 disaster." said Mr. Bush. Later in the day Jed Clampett, Jethro's former guardian, stated: "I must admit that I was surprised when I heard the news. George and Jethro have always been the best of buds. They just love it when the San Diego Chicken comes a callin'. And lord knows, I really do love those two knuckleheads, but if brains was lard, neither one these boys could grease a pan. If n' ya knows what I mean." |
