Saddam Hussein Finishes Second
In Hemingway Look-Alike Contest

Key West, FL (IWR Satire) - Saddam
Hussein (left) finished second in the 2003 'Papa' Hemingway Look-Alike
Contest held during Key West's annual Hemingway Days festival.
"We called the local FBI Office, but they were too busy following up
on tips about people reading
subversive literature at Starbucks," said one of the contestant
judges, Phillip T. Bucket. |

Saddam Hussein Turns Up at Kobe
Bryant's Trial

| EAGLE, Colo. (IWR Satire) -- Saddam
Hussein turned up at the Kobe Bryant trial on Thursday.
According to witnesses, Saddam was apparently reporting for the Al-Jazeera TV
Network. "He had a press pass and everything, so I figured he was
cool," said auxiliary policeman Ted Coleman.
Upon hearing the news, court recorder, Helen Meeker, immediately
contacted authorities: "I called the Attorney General's office, but
I was told that Mr. Ashcroft was too busy
violating the rights of Muslim immigrants, creating
a blacklist of federal judges and
expanding
his Gestapo Patriot Act powers to worry about Saddam Hussein."

Saddam Hussein Seen Leading Shriner
Parade in Findlay, Ohio

- Saddam Hussein has been identified by the FBI in this amateur
photograph taken at the local Shriner parade in Findlay, Ohio.
The Shriners were questioned by FBI agents on how Saddam Hussein
managed to lead their parade. Shriner Grand Puba, Phil Sanders, said:
"After you drink a pitcher of peppermint schnapps, it's hard to keep
track of who is in the car in front of you." |

Saddam Hussein Spotted Selling Fireworks
In Idaho

| Coeur d'Alene, Idaho (IWR Satire)
- A man appearing to Saddam Hussein was seen selling fireworks outside
of the local Wal-Mart. Witnesses questioned by the FBI said
that they couldn't really tell if it was Saddam Hussein or just some
another crazy Nazi. Local white supremacist, Bill Anderson, said:
"He had the best prices on fireworks and castor beans." |
