Muddy Waters - I Feel Like Going Home (1948)
Da man!

Muddy Waters

Lee Dorsey - Get Out Of My Life Woman
Lee is one of my favorite R&B singers, and this is one his best songs.  Of course, the creative force behind Lee's hits was the great R&B composer Allen Toussaint.  BTW, I saw the last part of an Allen Toussaint concert on PBS last night, and he played this same song.  He mentioned as influence the great New Orleans pianist Professor Longhair (below)

The Beautiful Indian Maidens, promotional poster, ca. 1899
This poster's beautiful colors and subject matter sure would have worked on me.  I wouldn't have missed that show for the world. I would kill to have a copy of one of the original posters.  Also, did you notice the little face on the dangling lobster?  I'm not sure what that's all about.
