Gerda Wegener (no relationship to
Alfred Lothar Wegener)
was a Danish illustrator and painter, who must have driven the Victorians
completely insane. For example, Gerda's transvestite husband Einar Wegener ("Lili" in drag)
became her favorite model for many of her paintings and illustrations for
magazines like Vogue. Eventually, Einar really became Lili in the first
publicly known sex change operations in the world. That aside, I wish
someone would create a decent archive of her wonderful artwork. I think the Madonna
painting below shows what a talented and unusual artist she was, but I also find
fascinating her erotic art alluring as well.

Doctors Mistake Bush's Brain For A

CAMP DAVID, MD (IWR News Satire) - Doctors on
Saturday removed what they thought was small polyp during a routine
colonoscopy, but to their surprise the "polyp" really turned out to be the
frontal lobe of Bush's brain. "It's hard to tell which end of the president
is up," said Mr. Bush's personal physician Dr. Fingers Schafer. Bush,
who was photographed later with Sugar Ray Leonard, seemed unconcerned that
part of his brain was removed "I never think that much about anything
anyway," said Bush with that patented dumb look on his face.
