In Retrospect, Sharon Says He Should Have Killed Himself

www.internetweekly.org.  In an exclusive interview with the Internet Weekly Report, Ariel Sharon said he was misquoted in a recent interview in stating that he should have killed Yassar Arafat long ago.   "I'm always projecting my own demented psyche onto the Palestinians.   If I should have shot anyone back then, it should have been myself.  What I really meant to say was that things would have been a heck of a lot better if I had never been born at all!   I'm a mess.   No matter how hard I try to do the right thing, I always end up doing something that ticks people off.  I was really just going to McDonalds for fish sandwich and the next thing you know I'm there at the Temple Mount!"   (02/04/2002)
