More Kawase Hasui from the MFA in Boston
Someday I have to visit the MFA museum in Boston whenever they have an exhibition of their spectacular collection of Japanese woodblock prints.  They have quite a number of Kawase Hasui's pre-1923 earthquake prints, which are said to his most inspired and rarest work.

The Onsen Range Seen from Amakusa (1922)

Toyama Plain (1920)

Don Kenn via Monster Brains
These are great.  The artist definitely has very zany, witty and humorous imagination. He reminds me a little bit of Charles Addams work.  I want one!!!

Posters, Lobby Cards for Bride of Frankenstein (1935, USA)
