Marianne Stokes

Marianne Stokes [Bio] is considered part of the Pre-Raphaelite Sisterhood.  Although her artwork is somewhat scarce on the Internet, I find the humanity depicted in her paintings as being very engaging.  I usually shy away from religious inspired art, but Marianne Stokes' Pre-Raphaelite style is so superb that it transcends the religious themes of her paintings.  There are also more images at Art Magic and at Pitt State.
