National Gallery of
Slovenia
I was very impressed by the painting The Death Cleopatra below,
which I saw on Femme on the
sidebar, and while doing research on the artist who painted Cleopatra
Felice
Ficherelli, I found the home of his magnificent painting at the
National Gallery of Slovenia (NGS). The scanned image sizes
at NGS are huge and very well done. Below are two of my favorites
from their European
painting collection. They also have a collection of
Slovenian artwork.
However, it's definitely Cleopatra that I'm in love with! Isn't she
a beauty?
