Alice Ernestine Prin was one of the most extraordinary and liberated
women of the 20th century. She was a painter, an artist's muse and
nightclub singer and an actress. She was also known as the Queen of Montparnasse, which was the epicenter of Paris art movement in the 1920s.
At the young age of 28, her memoirs were published with an introduction
written by none other than Ernest Hemingway, and she was the constant
companion of Man Ray and the
subject of 100's of Ray's photographs.
